We retain dated GoldJaanch reference-rate observations. Raw observations are not deleted; if a value fails a quality check, it is excluded from public calculations and recorded in the corrections ledger.
Why does your history not go back years?
The public series starts with observations collected by this system. We do not manufacture earlier GoldJaanch reference rates for dates the system did not observe.
Is yesterday's rate useful for anything?
