Privacy notice
This notice explains the information GoldJaanch collects, how it is used and how to request access or deletion.

Information we collect
- Alerts sign-up: the name, WhatsApp number and optional email you submit, along with your consent.
- Feedback: your message, the page it came from and any email or number you choose to provide.
- Technical records: our server or hosting provider may process IP address, browser/device information, requested URL, timestamps and security logs when you use the site.
- Browser preferences: language, country, currency and last-viewed place are stored in localStorage and functional cookies. LocalStorage remains in the browser; cookies are also sent to GoldJaanch with relevant requests.
- Optional location suggestion: only after you press “Use my location” and grant browser permission, your browser sends latitude and longitude to GoldJaanch. The server compares them with local, generalized country boundaries, does not send them to a geocoding provider and does not deliberately store them. A hosting proxy can still record a requested URL unless its coordinate-query logging is redacted.
Why we use it
- To remember your display preferences and provide the pages you request.
- To suggest one of the supported country pages after you explicitly request a location check; you review the suggestion before navigating.
- To review feedback, investigate incorrect data and reply when requested.
- To manage the alerts waiting list and send GoldJaanch updates after launch.
- To protect the service from spam, abuse and technical failures.
We do not currently create user accounts or store passwords. We do not sell submitted contact details. Infrastructure providers may process information on our behalf to host and secure the service. When alerts are enabled, an owner-configured messaging or automation provider receives the submitted name, email (if supplied) and WhatsApp number so it can deliver confirmation and unsubscribe links.
Retention and your choices
Alert sign-up details are retained while the waiting-list service is active or until you withdraw consent. Feedback is retained while it is needed to investigate the report and maintain a correction record. Security and hosting logs follow the hosting provider's operational retention settings.
Use the contact form and identify the submitted number or email to request access, correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion. We may need to verify that the details belong to you. Clear this site's data in your browser to remove local preferences.
Advertising and third-party links
GoldJaanch is not currently serving third-party advertising. Advertising will remain disabled until the required provider disclosures and consent controls are active.
Links to source publishers, WhatsApp and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. GoldJaanch does not control their data practices.
Security, international processing and children
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Hosting, verification-delivery or automation providers may process data in countries other than yours. GoldJaanch is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly seek personal information from children.
We will update this notice when collection practices or providers change and place a new effective date at the top.
